Perfumania Intentionally Selling Incorrect Product Bellport Nationwide

Perfumania.com advertises a Classique for Women by Jean Paul Gaultier Gift Set, which pictures and describes the fragrance for Jean Paul Gaultier Classique EDT perfume. The product received is another fragrance, also named Classique by Jean Paul Gaultier. However, instead of a nude bottle the client receives a lace bodice bottle, and the fragrance ingredients listed are different. I have purchased both products in the past and know from personal experience that the two products are completely different fragranes.

I had also contacted Jean Paul Gaultier manufacturer and confirmed the two fragrances were not the same product. According to the manufcaturer, the fragrance ingredients for Jean Paul Gaultier pictured on the webiste are Mandarin, Pear, Rose, Star Anise, Ginger, Iris, Orange Blossom, Orchid, Plum, Ylang-Ylang, Amber, Musk, Sandalwood, Vanilla.  Whereas, the perfume the company sends you has fragrance ingredients of Rum Essence, Rose Essence, Vanilla Orchid, Daffodil, Bourbon Vanilla, Sweet Amber, Sandalwood Absolute, Tonka Bean, Amber.

I provided the product photographs and ingredients from the manufacturer to Perfumania.com, and was told "According to our Brand Manager, the fragrance is the same, just the bottle is different." While the company was willing to refund my purchase, they have not changed their false advertisements (pictures and descriptions), and continue to sell the two products as the same fragrances.
