I went to buy a grass potty patch for my dog because we live on a 12th floor apartment. While going through the check out they tried to up-sell me on about 5 different pet products to jack up the price. That wasn't a big deal, but right after I order the product online a VERY pushy representative from Pet Zoom Pet Park called me to verify my billing address and then notify me that they were signing me up for a 30-day free trial for Identity Theft Protection and 24hr roadside assistance. After the 30 day trial if I did not cancel it they were going to charge my credit card I used for my order around $12 per month. What the hell kind of up-sell is that? All I wanted was a grass pee patch. I told them I didn't want the ID Theft service and the rep started questioning me on who was protecting my identity and FINALLY after I repeatedly told them I did not want the service they were quick to hang up the phone. I have a feeling once I receive my order I'm going to see have to cancel the service for this stupid up-sell. DO NOT buy a pee patch from this company unless you like to be hassled and up-sold for worthless crap you don't need and has nothing to do with the product.

Pet Zoom Pet Park - back ordered now..8 weeks for delivery?

AUTHOR: Andre - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 26, 2010

Contacted these jokers about my missing potty park after 4 weeks of waiting and they tell me they are on back order until the end of next month. super. Thanks for letting me know that when I ordered!? An update would have been nice? So rather than wait 8 weeks they let me cancel my order. I hope you see my chain of events and don't fall victim like I did. Pet Zoom Potty Park is a pretty bad business.

Pet Zoom Pet Park - unethical

AUTHOR: Andre - (U.S.A.)

And you are confused. This website isn't about being a good pet parent, its about calling out companies that suck. How about you go take my dog out every hour when its 20 degrees outside. It's a Maltese, not a Lab, he's basically a cat. He gets winded by the time we get down to the lobby. Moving on..

Update - the losers at Pet Zoom sold my email address and now I get about 20 spam emails in my inbox everyday for stupid offers. I never got spam at this email address in years until now. I bought the dumb grass pad on Dec 26th and today is Jan 22nd and there's still no sign of it. Does it really take a month to mail something out of a warehouse? DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

A cat box and a bag of cat litter work, and is cleaner than that thing.

Your dog just wants to go and not get in trouble for going in the wrong place.

Teaching your dog that is ok to pee on fake grass would be no harder than teaching to pee on newspaper or in a litter box.

Course my main thought, 12th floor apartment is no excuse.  You are a dog parent, not a cat parent.  Take the dog out for a walk.

More bad news at Pet Zoom Pet Park

AUTHOR: Andre - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 02, 2010

So after I bought my pet zoom potty patch I have been getting numerous calls from a unlisted number in Florida. So finally I answered one today to find out who it was. It was someone calling AGAIN to verify my order about the Pet Zoom Pet Park and try to sell me another useless service. I immediately told them that I already verified my order and they quickly hung up because they knew they weren't going to get another dime out of me. So apparently Pet Zoom just SELLS YOUR INFO to other vendors who will constantly call your phone. I think I have received 5-6 in the last 2 days since I ordered. DON'T buy this thing if you aren't ready for the hassle!!
