 Landlords of Long Beach - Pete Hamlet and Steven Marro - rent dilapidated apartments with numerous housing violations. Fail to repair them. Repairs not attended to, when repairs finally made, they are substandard.  Long Beach housing cited them for numerous violations. Such violations are on record at Long Beach Building department and open to public to view.  Rent to section 8 tenants who are known by them to be violent.  Enter tenant's apartments without permission or consent during non emergencies. Fail to return security deposits.

Fire department directed them to not turn on electricity during 2012 SANDY storm, nonteheless, they did, despite ocean and bay water flooding apartments and entering into electric outlets.  Despite news reports of many homes in Long Beach having electric fires due to salt water in electric circuits, refused to have electric inspected for salt water damage.  Failed to properly remove mold and mildew caused by water damage to wood floors, walls in apartments. Currently renting or attempting to rent apartments damaged by Sandy that may be without proper inspection for mold or by electrician. Make cosmetic repairs only when forced by town to make repairs.
