In response to Pete Spaziano's rebuttal dated 3/30/08 and 03/31/08.

Pete Spaziano scheduled the paved walkway and patio would be done on three different dates, 03/07/08, 03/14/08, 03/27/08. No materials were delivered on the scheduled appointments or men here to do the work.

When Pete Spaziano did get around to returning my calls and messages he had a dozen excuses. He never called to let me know he had no intentions of doing the paved walkway or patio until 03/30/08. On 03/30/08, he canceled the job because he read my complaint written on ripoff report.com website along with many, many other people describing his scams since 1997 and earlier.

On 03/31/08, I received an email from Pete Spaziano indicating costs for lava rock and labor of $185 delivered on 03/06/08. A cemix charge of $177.00 and sending guys out for a total of $497.00 and he owed me $203.00 of my $700.00 deposit. He needed my response so I would not tell people that he did not contact me.

On 04/02/08, I responded letting him know the costs are unacceptable.

On 04/08/08, I received an email from Pete Spaziano reading, so what is your proposal?

On 04/11/08, I replied. As requested, below are costs I will accept. $65.00 for 1/2 yard red lava rock, $20.00 for delivery charge and $40.00 for labor to place red lava rock in yard. The costs were quoted from Mulch and More, 5980 Cypress Gardens Rd. Winter Haven located less then 1/4 mile from my home where Pete Spaziano bought the lava rock. Labor costs to place 1/2 yard of red lava rock were given to me by two different Landscape Contractors. My $700.00 deposit minus $125.00 in costs equals $575.00 refund due. Mail a bank money order or cashiers check in the amount of $575.00 payable to me.

To date, 04/13/08, Pete Spaziano has not responded.

we did show up the day i told her,,,,we installed lava rock and told her the pavers will be delivered tommorrow,,,,,the next day we where there at 8oclock and she did not answer the door,,,we called several times but no answer,,,,finally at 1oclock she called me and said she wasnt home and that i should have left the pavers in the street,,,,i was highlt upset because that is wrong to do,,,,,why could she not have called to let me knopw she would not be home?we wasteed the wholke day,,,,she was not apologetic for that,,,iam sorry but you loose money when thi=ngs happemn like that,,,,everybody wants the contractor to stand up for his action,,,what about the costumer???????

On 03/07/08, approximately 8:00 AM, I spoke to Pete Spaziano who told me my materials would be delivered in the afternoon and two of his men would complete the installation of my paved walkway and patio. The only thing delivered was some lava rock placed into the ditch for draining off water in the yard.

I called three times on 03/07/08 and received a message. The mail box is full and cannot accept any messages try again later. I've called again 03/08/08 and the same message repeats.

Hopefully, my reporting this scam artist will prevent others from being victimized.
