Pete Stokin was an agent of Northern Leasing Systems.  I filled out an application for credit card equipment.  I never received anything but Northern Leasing was happy to take money out of my bank account each month.  I blocked the withdrawals when Pete changed his number.  Now Northern Leasing Systems is suing me and I just found out that they sent Pete a check to buy the equipment instead of buying it themselves and sending it to me.  I now understand how I got scammed and I can't believe Northern Leasing is so careless as to give a check to a third party and not even make sure that the person used the funds correctly.  Being sue for 7K and have no idea how much money Pete made from this scam of his. 

Avoid Northern Leasing Systems because they are careless and don't care about their clients. Avoid Pete Stokin because he is a con artist that will get you into debt then disappear.

Lost another $1500

Made the mistake of believing her and lost another $1500. Sent money using Walmart then made appointment to meet the next day.  She called me on the same day I made the appointment with her (just hours after I told her I will meet her tomoorow) to comfirm that I will make it, and left a message.  I didn't get, so didn't call and she cancelled the appointment without me knowing.  I was traveling a long distance so when I was half way their, I thought to text her to make sure she would be there on time.  Instead she started going off on me about how she called and I didn't call her back.  Like I would have know someone would call me less than 12 hours after setting up a meeting to make sure I will be their and cancel it if I don't get the call.  She didn't even think to call again or text to make sure. 

Since she cancelled, I asked for a refund because I really didn't like the fact that I drove so far for nothing and  she wasn't even sorry and she refused.  Stated she doesn't give refunds, even though she never meet with me with, didn't provide service, and cancelled our appointment.  Nice way to run a business.  Avoid doing business with someone who treats people this way.

Just updating the fact that he never contacted me to resolve this issue.  Avoid doing business with this guy.  Have a PI check him if you have doubts about what I'm saying before lossing money.

My account number is *******.  You changed your phone and stopped responding to my emails.  I've complained to you and you never sent me the equipment but northern leasing system did send you a check.  If you keep records of your transactions, then you have my email.  If you made a legit mistake, then email me and I will give you my number so we can talk on the phone.  If you resolve the issue, I will update the listing with the results.  If I don't hear from you in 60 days, I will just update the listing with the fact you didn't respond.  If you don't keep records, call Northern Leasing with the account number and tell them you were the agent that signed me up and to email me your phone number.

All leases verified by 3rd Party - Why wait 6 years to post this?

My last connection with Northern Leasing was in 2009 which at this point is 6 almost 7 years ago. If this person did lease equiment through Northern Leasing then there was and always has been with any type of lease a process called "3rd party verification" by either phone or physical inspection of the leased equipment at the buyers location of business. 

Lease companies do not pay vendors until this call or inspection has been completed. The verification call includes several point blank questions.

1. Do you understand the term of the lease? (between 24 and 48 months)(why wait at least 72 months to file this complaint)

2. Do you understand the amount of the lease payment? (average between $69 and $125 a month) (higher payment is for shorter lease)

3. Do you understand the lease is non cancelable for the term stated?

4. Do you have physical posession the equipment named in the lease?

5. What is the serial number of the equipment?


If any of those questions are answered "no" the lease company will not pay out on the lease. No if ands or buts about it. They will not pay until the customer gives them that information. 

I have no idea who this person is or why they waited 6 years to post this complaint. There is no way that they did not get the requested service. Northern Leasing just like all lease companies does have a 3rd party verification system before they pay out, exactly like this person says they should have.
