Peter DeGennaro - Charlene Connors - House Watch Of New England - Presidential Development ripoff Shoddy Workmanship Unfinished work Reading Massachusetts

We hired Donna Wayman, Wayman & Associates DBA Casalot Real Estate as a general contractor to renovate our home. We asked if she could handle it herself and not use Peter DeGennaro and Charlene Connors of House Watch of New England and Presidential Development. They now go by the name of Sunset Rock Management Co. Donna gave up reponsibilty to Peter DeGennaro and Charlene Connors to do the renovation. They took the payments and never finished the job.

The job was to take four months and we would be out of the house for 30 days. We were out of the house for 537 days, at my expense and the job is still not finished. They were paid in full per the contract schedule. I have had to hire other sub-contractors to try to complete the job, at my expense. They have left their sub-contractors as either partially paid and have bounced check(s) with the sub-contractors. They also have had attorneys hired by their supplier(s) of building materials.

We filed a 76 page complaint with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Safety, had several hearings and the findings were: Donna Wayman's license was suspended for a year and to pay a fine, Peter DeGennaro and Charlene Connors licenses were revoked and to pay a fine.
