Pete's Auto Service Pete says he decides his labor charge..!!! Chicago Illinois

My family used to visit a garage in N.Pulaski Rd. Its called Pete's Auto service.

Many times I have noticed that when me and my dad visits him for some or the other reason he always yells at us. No repspect or decency, we were forced to visit him again and again because my father can't drive too long, neither he wants to go to another place due to the convenience of access. Our old car was sold to him for 50 dollars. I was not present during the sale, but I dont know how this man cheated my dad. Im not worried about that.

We park the car in the street because we dont have garage. We rent a home.

Last week somebody tried to steal our spare tyre and being falied in his attempt and due to the frustration the suspect scratched the right side of the body from tail to bumper. When I was informed of this, I thought of not tempting them again and decided to put the spare tyre inside the vehicle.

Thus I reached Pete's Auto service today ( 29th Feb 2008, 2:15pm). This time, he did the same thing to me by yelling at me by asking silly things and he was finding joy in public teasing. I felt really bad in front of the other customers he had. This time I told him that please speak decently. I said, 'Im poor in speaking English, so please dont yell at me'. While I was taking the vehicle into the garage he was directing me from inside, it was my fault I made mistake in taking it straight inside. Again he started yelling at me as if Im his slave.

His job was just unlock the tyre and put it inside the vehicle. He ferociously charged me 20 dollars. I asked him why is this price? He raised up again and hit me on my chest. He called me "you piece of s**t"!, said that this is my shop, I will decide my labor. He again came close to me and started speaking discriminatively. I wanted to save my body, so I gave him the 20 dollars. He yelled at me again to, "get out of this place". Then he came running to me and put some junk inside my car telling that take this also.

Personally I dont want any severe action against him, I just want to inform you this incident, because if in future he or his subordinates tries to threaten me or my family or do harm to my car this complaint can be of some help to us.
