I hate Petrie Auto they called me and told me i was behind a car note that i wasn't aware of. I paid them 350.00 and told them that i would pay the other 150.00 the following week. They agreed that it was ok. The following day before my payment was due they repossed my car for 150.00!!!. My husband talked to the repo man and he showed him the order. That is ridiculous!!! I hate I hate that i ever went to this company. They are very easy to get financed but are very difficult to deal with. They turn good customers until bad customers. I will never ever recommend anyone to this company. There policies are horrible. I have never had a finance company like company before. I cant wait to finish paying for this vehicle and i will never go back to them and will never recommend anyone to go there.. THEY SUCK.

And just how were you unware?

So just how were you unware that you were behind?
When you got your auto loan didn't you sign a document that said you had a certain payment due at certain times? Or should we guess that you are going to claim you were dumb enough to sign a blank contract?
Don't you make the payments? If you have Auto Pay don't you keep track of your bank acccount(s) to know if payments are being made?
You are a responsible borrower...right?
Of course not, because you are with a Sub-Prime Buy-Here/Pay-Here place paying a high interest rate for a junk car because no one else would finance you.
They apparently thought that "the following week" meant something different. As for their "policies" their "policies" are something you agreed to when you got the car. If you didn't like the conditions you could have your car reposessed under, you should have not signed the contract and not bought the car.
By the way as a hint for the future...you generally don't have problems with creditors if you actually pay your bills on-time.
