I answered an advert in the Pet Section of The Loot which offered two szhitzu puppies for adoption. My grandaughter's doggy had died two months area and she was still fretting. However, her Mummy is a single parent so the high cost of buying her one was out of the question. Therefore, I emailed the address given on the website : markg161@gmail.com.

This man (or woman) explained that he had two adorable babies but because his work had taken him to Scotland from Manchester he could no longer look after "his babies" He kept on calling them "his babies" which I thought strange for a man especially as he told me he had two children living with him. I kept asking him questions because I sensed something was not quite right about the structure of his emails and suspected he was not British. This was not a problem ibut I needed to know if this was a scam from abroad. He assured me he was half Spanish and half English. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt.

I was so anxious to adopt a puppy for Emily and because he said he had two I sasked for them both because my other daughter said she would like a companion for hers.

He told me that all I had to do was pay for delivery Direct to the Delivery Agency and he would register the puppies for delivery the very next day. He said the delivery would be 75 so I said my daughter could not afford it. He then said the delivery agency would deliver both the puppies for 200.

I asked for pictures of the puppies so he sent a few pics which looked like they had been copied out of a magazine - very well staged with a pink background. I tld him I had to be careful because of there being so many scams out there so I would prefer to pay the agency cash on delivery.

He said, he agreed that I have to be careful and said that scams are everwhere so the agency would accept 100 in advance and the rest on delivery. Again he said he could arrange delivery the very next day which added to my suspicions that an agency could travel so far from Scotland with two puppies at such short notice so I asked the name of the agency which was PETS DELIVERY CARGO

I went on line and saw a couple of references to it from people who have been fooled. I emailed him and told him that he was an evil man who was praying on poor innocent and often lonely people and also a little girl who would be anxiously awaiting her new puppy which would not arrive.

These people should go to jail. I told him I will do all I can to expose him and his cronies.

PLEASE BEWARE !!!!
