The Pharmacy Discount web site listed Wal-Mart as a participating pharmacy, so I called one in a near-by town and spoke to a pharmacy asst. She verified the price listed on Pharmacy Discount's website and assured me they accepted the card. I drove all the way over there to pick up my prescription,only to discover they DO NOT accept the discount card!!
I called the 80# listed on the back of the Discount card and complained to the Pharmacy Network. I was told Wal-Mart often denies the card.
I retrieved the names of pharmacies in my area from the Pharmacy Network web site along with the price they would charge for a prescription I wanted to fill. I visited each one, and EVERY ONE told me they DO NOT accept the card!!
It appears this company is not legitimate, but I can't see what they are gaining by claiming to give discounts when the pharmacies are not participating.

I called the company to complain about all their card being denied at EVERY Pharmacy in my town. The representative appeared to be very surprised and kept saying the card was accepted everywhere. During our conversation I noticed how easily she responded to my complaints yet never took the initiative of a responsible company by requesting the names of the Pharmacies which turned the card down. She even claimed to be a native of Louisiana! <s> Her solution to the problem was to suggest I go to Walgreens with the card!!
It seemed to me that the phone reps are coached on how to be evasive, not address the real issue, show concern, but do nothing.
After a short discussion it became apparent that she didn't intend to do anything about the problem, so I hung up.
