Hello all!

I just wanted to put this out there for everyone who was like me. After searching numerous jobs on various websites (Monster, CraigsList, etc) I came across a "Pheonix Management" receptionist/customer service position. I sent an email and attatched my resume hoping for more information. Less than 24 hours later their airhead "receptionist" Kristen called back wanting to set up an interview that day. Seemed like a quick response, but I planned to meet for an interview the next day.

After waiting in the run down rental they called an office, the divisional manager Donnie came waltzing in, saying he was running behind. Finally when I spoke with him in his corny rhino-themed office, he went on with the same dumb story as I've read at least 10 times on this site. He tells you he wants to use this as a screening interview and didn't ask me any questions. The whole "enticing" idea that you need no education, no experience, nothing, to run a business under them as a "branch manager." The promise of $30,000 your first year... blah blah blah. I swear everything he said (ridiculously fast) was the same thing word for word as he has told the others in these complaints. It was too good to be true and I'm just glad I caught it now before I got in too deep.

I was going to get a call back between 5-5:30 with an answer as to whether they wanted a second interview. Sure enough, 5pm Kristen calls to have me come in the next day (they really move fast here) 10:45am. I didn't know it was a group seminar until I arrived. They ask you to bring a paper and pen and sit there taking notes about complete bullshit. 3 hours of brainwashing innocent applicants into thinking this is a wonderful career opportunity. And Donnie? Wow, what a "character." I give him credit, he knows how to sell it! The sob stories of himself and Larry Hahn. The "perks" and "vacations." It's all the same speech given over and over again to get a group of 5-6 he thinks are gullible enough to fall for it.

After making his "cut" I was handed a background screening form. I went home and jumped on the computer to research right away. Something didn't seem legit to me, and thankfully I followed my instincts. I'll admit my embarrassment in finding out I was so thrilled/excited over a complete scam. The stories are all like mine. The scenarios, the people, it's all really sad. Needless to say, I did not bring my form in and I will not be going to their bs "orientation" Monday morning. I will not be on the street and in parking lots selling their knockoff perfumes and lies to people. That's degrading. I hear they make you sign an independent contractors agreement, so that they don't have any responsibilty for you as "employees" when they send you out solicitating.

It's all such nonsense. Yeah, I can sit here bashing this company and Scentura as a whole, but my purpose is to get my story out there with the other millions. Luckily, I didn't fall victim to Donnie's scheme. I want to warn others before they get in this mess themselves. It's disgusting how these people lie and fool others; others who are maybe unemployed and trying to support themselves or their family. It's sick. I'm grateful for these stories posted prior to mine. They helped me see the truth before I had my life brought down by scumbags!!

Goodluck to everyone! Stay away from this scam!

NEW NAME!

AUTHOR: Giselle - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Thursday, May 05, 2016

The website RhinoPionner was registered 43 days ago by Donny Zinkin,  Lincoln Blvd. Middlesex, NJ.  The website has only been registered for (1) year.  Why?  Do they not plan on being around very long?

Ads for a receptionist/front desk are on careerbuilder and other sites right now. The ads state no experience required, pays $10-$15 hourly and offers a competitive starting package. Oh and you must like loud music and a fun environment. LOL!

Sadly, over 100 people have applied for this "job" at careerbuilder alone.

I'm glad you were able to get out. I was there about three months. They are terrible people. I wonder if anyone has the BBB on them. What they do in office is illegal. I had things thrown at me, cursed at, and threatened. I was told I needed to learn how to be disrepected and teased.
