Phillips Toyota/Scion of Leesburg, Fl unscrupulous repair practices Leesburg Florida

 Took my car to Philips Toyota of Leesburg for an oil change and tire rotaion.  Waited about 3 hrs for the work to be done.  I checked the invoice before paying and leaving to make sure the requested work was done.  The documentation stated that all work was done, it even gave the specs on the tire rotation, which was noted as completed.  Got the car home an inspected it, and realized the tire rotation had not been done, even though the paperwork indicated it had.  I called the service manager, and he came out to my home, and confirmed that the work had not been done, and that I had been charged for it.  When the mechanic was questioned, he first said, that in his opinion the rotation wasn't necessary, and that's why he didn't do, but failed to mark it correctly on the paperwork.  When questioned  a second time, he said that the rotation was done.  Clearly there is an issue of integrity and trust with this individual.  When I tried to contact the owner of the dealership, I was told that there had been a death in his family,  and that he would be made aware of this situation, and would call me back.  This was 3 mos. ago, and I still haven't heard from him.  Phillips did correct the problem, and refunded me all of my money, but again, in the back of my mind is the issue of trust.  How do I know that they actually put the right oil in the car?  I really believe that the owner of the dealership should have had the professional sense to follow up on this. This mechanic is a disgrace to the organization and is a reflection of the dealership as a whole.  He should have been fired, but I will never know.  What I do know is that I will never, ever refer a friend or go to this dealership again.
