Phobio is a Mac recycling partner that promises a seamless device buyback program for Apple users to receive cash for their old devices by providing simple trade-in options. The process was extremely time consuming and certainly not simple. They were recommended to us by the sales person at the apple store when we upgraded my wife's computer. They offered us $300 for our Apple MacBook Air Core i7 (in perfect condition). After we sent them our computer, they changed the offer to $90 on a basis of some poor excuse that it had software missing (they recommended that we call Apple-Care and re-load it). We found Phobio to be deceitful and a scam. Also, shame on Apple for working with this shady company.
