The Phoenix Forex Group is a meet-up for Forex investors in Phoenix, but I recently learned it is part of a larger network of Forex companies that use the group to recreuit newbie investors. In the groups there are company plants who look for marks and people with money.
The Phoenix group in particular was on the look-out for some of the Latinos with money, who knew nothing about Forex but were looking to start currency trading. I heard that some people in Phoenix received remarkably high returns and could possibly be warning signs of a Ponzi scheme. Its not unheard of for Forex traders to use the company funds to build an elaborate scheme.
Rumours about the Phoenix Forex Group funding the portfolios of the team leaders are abound in the Phoenix investment community.
