Donald Smith was sentenced today. 8 years. No mention of the other business associates or parties involved, including the attorneys representing PSI (Tim Fox) or the CPA's who are also potentially liable for malpractice. It is well known that Mr. Smith suffered from mental illness for decades and most recently during his bouts with cancer, chemotherapy and heart problems. It is extremely likely that the other partners were knowledgable of this and used his impaired mental state to their advantage to drain the company and Mr. Smith of assets.

Earlier this summer Mr. Smith was likely set up in a faked assault charge. The day he was jailed, his home was stripped of personal property, and a restraining order was filed against him barring him from his own property. Attempts to file police reports for the missing items were denied by Marion County police citing it to be a civil affair. Upon release, Mr. Smith checked into a local hotel, then much later the issuer of the restraining order checked into the same hotel then called the police again causing the bond on Mr. Smith to be broken.This is odd because this person had access to a very nice ranch-so why check into a hotel? He was then arrested again and jailed for two months, at which point the charges were dismissed due to no show from the plaintiff.

All related property of the companies has been seized/is under control of the Federal Government. Missing personal items from the home have yet to be retrieved and attempts at filing police reports have all been denied by Marion County citing it to be a civil affair. 

Future investors should take extreme caution before investing in start up companies and only invest after a thourough research of all members within the company heirarchy and products have been performed. A quick search on the product/service provided by this company would have dispelled claims of 'cutting edge tech' and potential returns on investment. Even after a thorough research on a company and its members has been performed, investors should invest with extreme caution and never put in more money than you are willing to lose as many companies, especially start ups fail within the first 3-5 years. Never trade emotionally. 

After reading the backstory and doing a little digging of my own I am appalled that anybody would have put more than $100 into this company. Albeit, it is a shame that any investor is taken advantage of.  I hope every victom concerned is able to seek and receive adequate restitution.

In my earlier post I mentioned that Stryrorez was trying to take the hard earned investors monies and change the name in order to restart under a new name in Texas. I mentioned the town of Rockport, however it was Rockdale, Texas. If you google ”Rockdale Texas welcomes  Styrorez it should pop up under an article by the Rockdale article. I went direct to the Rockdale Reporter archives and couldn’t find it. I dont know if the article was scrubbed for protection or not.

The articles from the past was from the city councils welcoming them and then one other article was telling how they were changing their name and breaking away from Don and his problems. Wish I would have copie or kept the last article. Still don’t think they can use our technology even though Don, Dianne and groupies lied about they didn’t want to patent the technology because they were afraid someone would steal it. Figure that. Thieves afraid of thieves.

 If you invested your hard earned money in Phoenix Synergies please Google the Rockdale reporter newspaper. A Texas Rockdale paper has reported that a new investor is changing the name of Styrorez and patents while getting out from under Don's troubles but still using the technology. How is that even legal. Go to Rockdale Reporter newspaper and word search Styrorez.

 Dear personnel, If you, Don, Dianne or any of the core group can please send me a 30k check that was going to be used for my grandsons future college needs I may decide to use your words as well. Oh I forgot, good old Don was given us all a chance we never have before. When I will think of dear Don saluting his flag he boasted of every morning and never talking it out with those he took advantage of, somehow I just don't have the heart to protect him. I've even read of a spin-off company down in Rockport Texas that is using Don's technology that we all dearly paid for with no updates involving us the original shareholders. At this point I hope someone starts a class action lawsuit and keeps everyone advised. I'll be the first to hold the lawyers coat.

The stories I am reading here are identical to mine.  My mother and I are victims as well. Does anyone know the outcome of the September hearing?  If there is a class action suit being initiated, we would like to be included.

Don Smith has gone to jail but has posted bail.

There are many people that have been hurt by your friends, many of them seniors. I would like to know how much you have invested in PSI  since you are friends and know how honorable they are.

They are going to court in September and this is were we find out how nice they are or are they just people who lack integrity. I wonder if there is really a court date or if this is just another lie, I and many others don't hold out much hope that this will end well. If things are as they claim I am sure the court or their lawyer would have had them notify shareholders that there truly was a lawsuit and they would be notified of the outcom.

Don, Diane and others have are great people with big hearts. I have never been so upset about the crude words being posted here. I have known these people for a long time and have never seen them have ill intentions to anyone.

Hello Erik... I see you are commenting on the PSI website.  We will get to the bottom of this mess.  When I get Don Smith & Diane Sanders physical address, not their UPS store mailbox, in Ocala...  Hi I two am a victim of Phoenix synergy. They got my money and never would respond after that. That was two years now. Their Ocala address is a UPS store but somebody is picking up the mail. I was thinking about hiring a private investigator but unsure as to what they could do. I think a Class action lawsuit would bare fruit. My e/ mail erritz@aol.com.
