PhonePages Phonepages.ca Deceptive advertising; scam Internet

All beware!  This company is the lowest of lows!  they are a well structured rip-off company preying on honest peoples Habits.  The company called with the name "phone pages" (Most people assume it is The local telephone distributor (ie Telus)) and we talk to the add representative.  The person sells some internet advertising that is 499.00, which can be discounted for your early response to their bait.  They tell you their mode of advertising, the cost and then request a credit card number.  I provided the credit card number and the billing address etc.  The representative then finalizes the sale and after the sale is closed says that all the terms of this add are listed in section 3 of their "terms and conditions".  What they don't tell you anywhere in the conversation prior to the close is that the contract ( there view of a contract )IS PERPETUAL and RECURRING  and that you have to pay a fee to cancel this agreement.  THERE IS NO MENTION OF  A CANCELLATION FEE .  When I contacted the representative  "BROCK" at Phone pages he played the initial tape back where I agreed to purchase the 499.00 advertising.  He played back the tape of me agreeing to the price and the final part of the conversation (after the credit card is received) suggesting that if i have questions I can read section 3 of their  terms and conditions.

The representative agreed that they use deceptive advertising regarding the terms and conditions.

What a bunch of scammers.
