Physicans Prompt Care Centers Margaret is supposedly the office manager and the only one that could refund my money until she made the mistake of answering the phone one day. Then Joe whom is also a manager or some other title that had capabilities of refunding my money. Refused to refund my money Tinley Park Illinois

I went to Prompt care in May of 2015. I called my Urgent care center which is Beverly and they contacted Prompt care and gave them permission to treat me rather that sending me to the emergency room which would have cost much more. When I arrived at Prompt Care they were waiting for me. I immediately saw the Dr and was diagnosed with a abrasion on my cornea which was very painful and I could barely see which is why I ended up at this God forsaken place.

The nurse at Beverly agreed with me that it was too far to drive in my condition and authorized me to go Advocate n 18210 LaGrange Road. This location is approximately 5 miles from my home where as Beverly Urgent care is approximately 20 miles away. I paid my copay after I was treated and could see clearly. 6 or 9 months later Prompt Care started sending me a bill for the treatment I received. I had blue cross blue shield at the time. Blue cross Blue shield claimed that they had not received a bill when I talked to them.

To make a long story short after over a year Prompt Care sent the bill to collections and my credit was seriously damaged. I called Blue Cross Blue Shield until I finally got them to pay the bill. Meanwhile I had also paid the bill which is $121.00. Prompt Care would not remove the mark from my credit report and still have not refunded my money even though Blue Cross Blue Shield had also paid them. This lady Margaret told me "it took us a year to get our money from you now you think you are going to get yours back right away. I don't think so", The negative remark is still on my credit report and the collection agency even said they would talk to Prompt Care to try to get them to refund my money but it never happened. Mr. Goldman of RRS, Inc a collection agency located in Munster Indiana has emailed me on several occasions about my refund but he can't get them to release my money either. I hope you can help me.
