I went to inquire about the HCG weight loss plan. when I called they said it was $600.00 for the shots with doctors visits included.

When I arrived for my free consultation, she immediatley showed me all the food supplements, shakes etc. I should be drinking and and purchaseing. She kept saying that I need to eat protien to lose weight, then after they weighed me they took me into a room for the Sales gimmick.

I was told that I can lose 40lbs very fast (28 days to be exact) and that I just needed to be on a 500 calorie diet, and there was no need to exercise.

Then she kept asking me if I had to talk with anyone at home about my decision to lose weight, I said no each time she asked me (5times). She asked about my lifestyle I said I am very active and will not stop being active. I workout 4 days a week, and telling me not to work out is a bad idea, she said no its good to not exercise. I told her I am a certified fitness instructor and she was saying the wrong information.

I then asked her if these injections would interfere with my Hypothyroid Disease and medication. She asks me, "do you think it would?", I said "I don't know I am asking you". She replied "I don't know what that is but it sounds like it wouldn't do anything, these injections are not medicine." (??) I said "would it make my condition worse or better, she says if you think it makes you better than it would". (??)

Then she breaks out the binder with the tattered power point presentation and kept mentioning how they are always in magazines. 

Then begins to drop the bomb... "how much is it??" I ask. "Well", she says, "Its 600.00 for the shots, $825.00 for the diet plan, $255 for B12 shots, and $155, for the maintanance plan." I said, "Wait I was told it was $600.00 for the entire plan", she said "no, that just for the shots and if you are doing the shots you need the plan." "But why would I need the plan if i would only be eating 500 calories a day? I can't survive on 500 calories a day, teach fitness classes and run 1.5 miles every other day, its impossible to be healty." She says, "people do it all the time. You are fat and need to lose weight, and this is the only way you are going to do it. Now do you have $300.00 for a down payment?"

I say "I need to think about this, you changed the prices on me. I will come back." She says, "Let me tell you something, people say that all the time and never come back because they think they don't need to loos weight. You are fat you should do it." I said to her, "I am not fat, I am very fit, I just wanted to loose a few inches for an event and you are trying to shame me into this sales gimmick." She says" its up to you, do you want to be fat or skinny?" I said to her," its ashame that you are preying on peoples weaknesses to get a sale. This diet is not normal, its not healty and its not long term. Then she says we have other diet plans that start at $800.00- $1900.00. Would you like those??? I walked out.

Not to mention they all wear scrubs as if they are RN's or medical professionals and mention that the doctors in the office work with the hospitals in the area, and was name dropping hospitals in the area. I called the hospitals and they said they do not work with this group because of the unhealthy diet plans that can cause long term medical harm.
