my rating is a Eek! Methinks not (pretty cute rating) due to the quality of the service I receive at Pink Lime (p.s they moved locations, not that you should care since they are a RIP OFF); the quality of the products they use however, is good.
They will encourage you to get this that and the other by waiving a flashy coupon in your face... but beware, the coupon is only good when they d**n well feel it is good to be used.
They are ridiculously over priced, the staff... not so professional considering you pay 50% more for a hair cut, wax, mani or pedi compared to any other salon.
I wouldnt recommend them because they are S-N-E-A-K-Y.
p.s: if by chance the manger reads this... thanks for ripping me off, over the past year i spent nearly $600 at your salon and spa... but going forward you will not get mine, nor my three friends' business. Why? Because you are way to expensive... which was not a problem until you ripped me off you snake. f.y.i: THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT...
should have given me the discount AS promised, you saved $30 today... however you lost three regulars..

I am the owner of pink Lime Salon & Spa in Calgary and I would like to explain to you my side of the story.
Yes we have moved locations - we moved in November of 2008 from Richmond to DownTown Calgary. We have expanded our location from 1600sq./ft to over 4000sq./ft. We pride ourselves on being the company that goes above and beyond for our clients.
What I see here is a client that feels that our rates are too high. I would like to compare some of our rates with our competition for the services you see listed in the above complaint.
pink Lime - Comparison
Ladies cut with senior stylist = $65-75 FIRM
Full Head Hi-Lites = $130 one color
Manicure = $55 includes paraffin treatment
Pedicure = $95 includes paraffin treatment, mask and massage
Swizzlesticks
Ladies cut with senior stylist = $75+
Full Head Hi-Lites = $155 one color
Hennessey
Ladies cut with senior stylist = $65+
Full head of Hi-Lites = $120+
Diva
Manicure = $45 no paraffin treatment
Pedicure = $80 no paraffin treatment, mask or message
As you can see from this little comparison, we are right on par with the some of the other big names in Calgary. We are too high, and we are not the lowest either. We are right in the middle.
I remember this day when you and your girlfriends came in. What the mishap was - an old price list. We did honor the 50% off and explained that this price list that was sent to you was not sent from pink Lime, it was one that came from an internal source within your organization. I apologized to you at the time, we discussed this together and offered a deal for a future visit.
I am sorry that you felt that your service during your visit was not up to par and this I would like to have the oppertunity to remedy if you would allow for us to do so.
We are not sneaky, or do we hide our pricing.
We pride ourselves on our service.
Our team is harding working, determined to ensure that your time with us memorable.
We get client testamonials all the time praising our team and how great they felt after leaving.
I truly am sorry that you didn't get this same feeling upon your exit. Please give us the chance to redeem ourselves in your books....
