Pinnacle Recovery and SPM Resorts Filed false collection notice on my credit report Carlsbad, CA 92013 Nationwide

I received notice on my credit report that Pinnacle Recovery Inc and SPM resorts filed a false fradulant claim that they had a collection action against me.   When I called and explained I did not own a time share unit I got passed around from caller after caller, each asking for personal information.  After spending hours on the phone, they could not give me any inforamtion and said all I could do was fax a letter to them.  I sent a letter explaining the issue with a copy of the creidt report but no one called me back  I have continued to call them to get this matter removed from my report but each time I am told the same thing, they say I have to fax a letter to them or my other option is to just pay the claim, one which I do not owe.  They have no legal right to any claim or any funds and are attempting to black mail me into paying them something to take a false report off my credit report.  This false claim is preventing me from making a purchase I was attempting to make.
