Oh-oh. Just got through reading Larry Lightner's (Hawthorne NJ) report on his 60 inch Pioneer projection TV problem. My 5 year old 51 inch Pioneer projection TV has been in the shop now for over one month. Larry says I'm looking at a minimum $550 charge. Yikes! The question in my mind now is how soon will something else in the Pioneer TV need to be replaced and will it cost me a minimum of another $550? At that rate I'm over 2/5 of the way to the purchase of a brand new high definition 65 inch Sony projection TV. I don't think I will be making future purchases of Pioneer Eelectronics devices.
