Pioneer Pacific College Ripoff an education worth only the money you are willing to pay! Springfield Oregon

I was also a former student at PPC. I was in their new program "Health Care Administration". I was one of the first for that program.

I, luckily moved to Colorado, so I didn't finish the course. However, I was there long enough to acquire tuition bills and a knowledge of how they are ripping off the Eugene/Springfield area.

I was totally excited to start this new transition in my life. I needed to gain the knowledge to enter into the workforce once again after being a stay-at-home mom. It is so sad that they prey on people like me who really do need to get the knowledge to get a decent job.

The first term was uneventful. It was full of the lame classes you "have" to take. Such as Intro. to Windows, College/Career and Success, Intro. to College Writing. I didn't learn much in these classes. Plus the instructors themselves treated them as a "joke" so most students treated them as such.

There were subsequent terms that I about quit each time. I knew more about coding than my instructor did. So much, that the other students in the class had to ask ME what to do.

A lot of times the books didn't even match what we were supposed to be learning. The instructors would bring in their own materials to "supplement" what we were being "taught" in the books.

I had a particular situation where I did ALL the work that the instructor gave us...one other student did only 2 of the 6 or so that were required, and she ended up with a better grade than I at the end of the term. Myself and one other student went in to complain to the program director. Well the only thing she came up with is that the instructor had given the other student all the points for the work and she couldn't prove that the student didn't do all the work.

How messed up is that? That was the first time I had gotten a C in any of the courses. I felt I didn't deserve.

One other situation with the same student, she had into the FOLLOWING term to finish a paper that was to be done with before the end of the term prior!

I have heard that many students who "graduate" from this college are still out there looking for jobs, or sadly they find themselves having to continue their education even more.

This so-called "college" is not a college. They are in it for the MONEY and the MONEY ONLY! They do not care about the students enough to give them the education they deserve. Even though the students are PAYING HARD EARNED MONEY FOR A "QUALITY EDUCATION".
