I needed to make some extra money for my family and I had read in the paper about Pioneer Services Corp about stuffing envelopes at home.
They sent me information about there company and how they could afford to pay 1.00 per envelope you stuffed instead of paying the overhead in the office. They required me to send them 35.00 for processing fee and after I sent the first 200 envelopes in I would receive 235.00 back 200.00 for the envelopes and my processing fee back, that way they would not waste supplies if I did not stuff any. Well its been over a week and I had sent in the extra 2.00 to rush delivery, so I decided to look online for the company and found this website and people that had been ripped off. Something needs to be done to these people, they are making a killing on other peoples hard earned cash.

You may want to chalk the fee up as a lesson learned

You may want to chalk the fee up as a lesson learned. Most of these envelope stuffing jobs are scams. In most cases, if you receive anything, it will be instructions to print and mail flyers to others offering the same offer you responded to - you simply change the company's address for your own - this is how you get paid.
They are rarely, and I emphasize RARELY, true offers. In most cases they are tantamount to mail fraud. I recommend you report the company to the U.S. Postal Inspector - you won't likely see your money back, but if there are enough complaints they will be investigated.
Realistically, there are no jobs like this. Even for companies that cannot afford their own equipment there are services with equipment that will collate, fold, stuff, address and sort by zip code thousands of envelopes in an hour. The cost aside from postage is around one to two cents per envelope. Considering this no company is going to pay $1.00 per envelope.
