Placement Today Internet Marketing Scam & Fraud Irvine California

This update is done after I gave the company 48 hours to respond to my phone calls to Peter Hamel or Baxter. I was told to contact them concerning my refund. I warned them via email that I would expose their company if they did not return my calls.

First of all I am filing a complaint with Orange County District Attorney Consumer Fraud Unit as soon as I receive the paperwork.

On Friday 9/26/08 I made a trip to Orange County and of the information below is 100% correct. First I checked the address listed on their web site.
The address 18101 Von Karman Ave., Irvine is phony, the actual address is 18100. It is a 9 story office building there is no Suite 140, entire 1st and 2nd floors are under construction and I saw no usable offices on those floors and there is listing on the Directory.

I also checked out an address that BBB had which was actually in Newport Beach and it is also phony. BBB give's this company an F rating. I wonder why?

I then checked out the address that I sent my check to in Orange.
That address is 172 N. Tustin St., Orange, CA 92867. This is a 3 story office building. The name on this office is Exclusive Position,Inc., the office had several work stations with telephones and maybe a computer. The door was locked and there were no people present (2:30pm). I had a friend check this location in June and he reported the same. I have the name of the person signed the lease on this office space.

County of Orange has no DBA on record for this company. Placement Today filed a DBA on 6/23/08 by INMEDIA,LLC. INMEDIA,LLC filed a DBA on 6/22/08 by Yoseph Sevy & Darryl Wheeler. INMEDIA,LLC filed with the State of California on 5/21/08.

SDM & SDM,LLC filed DBA on 8/4/08 by INMEDIA,LLC. As you can see this is quite a paper catch. I still have no idea who the real owner is but I was told it Raymond Anthony but I can't verify this at this time.

I doubt if I will ever see my $4100.00 refund but this company is MUST be put out of business. It is extremely obvious that company is scamming small business owners with promises they will NEVER DELIVER.

If you have any problems with this company please contact the Orange County District Attorney and file a complaint.

What every you do AVOID THIS COMPANY all they want is your money.

Placement Today has agreed in principal to refund my money if this report is removed. I have asked Rip Off Report to do so. Since I have no control of this matter I am adding this to the report I filed earlier.


My comments about Placement Today may have been harsh but I still don't like the way the company operates. This statement may cost me my refund but advise anyone considering their service to be well aware of what you buying before you commit to it.


For the record the Placement Today is not a SCAM or a FRAUD, that I can prove but do your homework before buying.
