I ordered Lenox Butler's Pantry Dishes from Placesettings.com on 2/22/08 at a cost of $212.63 paying through PayPal, didn't receive anything for about 6 weeks, sent a e-mail about dishes and was sent 4 bread and butter plates. On 4/25/08 sent another e-mail regarding order and was sent a reply that "an inquiry has been sent to the warehouse. We will have more information for you regarding ship status shortly. I appreciate your patience. Responses to
inquiries may take up to 1-2 business days". Since that time I have sent numerous e-mails, for the past 3 weeks Placesettings.com sent back that they were not accepting any e-mails. I wrote a letter to Placesettings Inc regarding order asking for dishes or money back but have not received a reply. Today I called American Express and because I have waited on the dishes in good faith, AM will not help me with this because it has been longer that 60 days since the purchase and PayPal will not help me using the same excuse. It would seem Karen and Robert Manossy have duped me also. What has happened to people and companies who are honest and people of their word? The money spent on these dishes was money my children gave me for christmas to buy these dishes and disappointing this is.
