Planet Mazda Las Vegas False Advertising; Deceptive promotion Las Vegas Nevada

I usually don't do this but i am outraged from what we went through with planet mazda and as a reporting agency, we feel everyone should know about the false advertising practice that went on at planet mazda, here is the story.

 

My mom and i visited planet mazda on 11/18/2013  looking for a deal on their said sister company had on their website; http://centennialmazda.com/default.aspx the deal we came in looking for was the 2014 mazda cx-5 and it specifically said 0 down, 36 months 199 + tax, as a smart buyer, ive done my research about the car and saw the promotion has been extended to 11/30/13; originally from 10/30/13, it was a great deal, knowing exactly what i wanted, we visited planet mazda.

 

I approach a salesman name joey & nick regarding the said model and promotion, they confirmed the deal and was polite and courteous at initial introduction; we then test drive the car and loved it.. said we would definitely be back on thursday/friday 11/21-11/22 and finish the deal and promotion, they confirmed deal and we walked away happy. 

 

We came back friday morning, to confirm the deal with joey and finish the paperwork, before anything else, i firmly stated to joey "before we run our (dad & mine) credit, are we agreeing on the said promotion of 199/ month 0 down" joey then said "yes, if all credit comes back good, we can definitely do that for you" i said ok great, you may run the credit. 

 

He then comes back and said ok, everything is excellent, credit confirmed and everything checked out, im happy and excited about closing the deal, joey then stated that it's actually 299+tax with $3,250 down, i was confused and flustered.. what happened to the initial deal? he then stared that the deal they were running was different and was not able to find the promotion we've been talking about for the past two days.. what gives? i became increasingly flustered and enraged but had very little time because of work; i i told joey that i had to go to work and that it was ridiculous all of a sudden he forgot or cannot find the deal.. this is a major bait and switch, i stated to joey that i was firm on the promotion we mentioned and would give him a call because of time limitation.

 

Friday night, i called joey and he stated that he could still not find the deal i was talking about.. i stated that i will come saturday morning and bring the paper once again; he said to bring it in and he would really like to earn my business and will honor any promotion them or their sister company is running.

 

Saturday morning; 9am i was at planet mazda looking forward to closing the deal, joey then brought in a sales manager to speak with us, the sales manager (tyler or scott) i forgot whom, was very shady and dodged our promotion paper; he THEN stated that the promotion was not as it stated online, that it was actually 0 down OR 36 months OR 199+ tax, which made absolutely no sense because it is in one sentence and in huge print, he said ok let me work on some numbers, he brought back 199 month with 3500 down, i became flustered and asked about the internet promotion, he then ran numbers again and said oh it was my mistake, it was actually 4500 down, through many sales tactic and deception, they lost 2 customers in my mom and i, we were very happy with the vehicle but not with the bait and switch. 

 

i filed a complaint with BBB and wrote a letter to corporate, this is unacceptable especially when its a front page promotion, i have print outs, screen shots and whatever is needed to prove this so.

 

please help me if you can, im not seeing reimbursement but for them to honor something they promoted and to warn others who may also see the promotion. my number and email is attached, please please help if you can.
