My son and I had been looking on line for used cars . We had a voluntary repo a year before. My son called the number listed to inquire about the vehicles on line. We told them we wanted to finance $5000 with a payment less than $250. The dealership contacted several finance companies. When we arrived there they told us we could only get 1 car. It is a 2004 Lancer. We did not want that car. They told us we had no other options. My son works and I am disabled. We had to put $1000 down and even after that they made us finance over $8000. Payments are $325. We contacted the N C Attorney General and they sent a letter back stating we did have a case and gave us a file number. They said we would have to take them to court. The amount to do that was $150. We did not have the money to do it. This POS car does not even have a working heater.

Unethical financing

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Saturday, May 20, 2017

You sound like a person of no morals or values. The car we financed was a $4000 POS . We financed $8000 . We were never told where all the monies were allocated to. For your information we have been paying on this POS for the past 2 years and our credit scores have gone up since then. If all your responses are going to be rude you can end them now. If this website was going to include these types of responses I would have never placed my post .

Your signature on the financial agreement does not support your claim that the terms were “never disclosed.” You appear to be a person whom is not worthy of your word and you have dragged your son’s credit down with you.

Unethical financing

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Friday, May 19, 2017

We found out that since they could not find financing for us , they found a company in Michigan that agreed to finance if they added the payoff to the prior car to this transaction. It was never disclosed. This is how it all came to pass. We had no choice but to sign the contract since we had to have transportation. They have a new commercial running now I'm sure you could see it on u-tube. It is totally false advertising. We were treated very disrespectful while we were there.

Your sales rep could sell clothing to a nudist

You agreed to purchase a car you didn’t want for 60% over your limit with monthly payments of 30% over your budget. The only case you have is a case of buyer’s remorse.
