Platinum Benefit Group RIPOFF SCAM!! If they call hang up and change ur #!! They take money w/out permission Clearwater Florida

I had gotten a call from them oct30 asked me if I wanted to sign up for their card, mastercard... would assume credit card. I continued to give my information to sign up for the card. At the end of the conversation, I was told what the card actually was, I said repeatedly I did not want the card and do not put it through.

They told me that I could not cancel. They said that I had a 14 day trial. If I wanted the card to call them back and give the authorization to do this transaction. I never called back. The money was taken out of my account (129.95). I called them, they said there was nothing they could do, they said I had authorized it when I had not.

I contacted my bank and had them blocked out of the account. Called them back to get this refunded, was told has to be reviewed by the executive office... was hung up on.

My bank is currently filing their own lawsuit against the company because they require that any company that withdraws money from my account has to have a written authorization from me on file (which they don't) so they are making a case against them at this point.
I am going to the bank tomorrow to follow up with them as to their progress and I have noticed that my account was refunded... so I am thinking they got somewhere...
Anyways just a suggestion. They call hang up and block their number. Hope this helps someone else from falling victim to these scams.
