Where do I start?  Should have googled Platinum Electricians Ipswich before I rang and engaged them to do work on my place.   One bad review stated that they never return phone calls.  That review was correct.  They also DO NOT WARRANTY ANY OF THEIR WORKMANSHIP - they insist on payment immediately after completing the work so that if there is any problem with the work they have done; you have no recourse as once paid these electricians just run off and never come back to fix any of their dodgy work.  Ken McCoombes who is the owner of Platinum Electricians Ipswich is a smooth talker and treats a female customer like she has cotton wool for brains.  When you ring to state that the work that was carried out needs to be rechecked; Ken speaks to you like you are his best friend; promising a return call out to your place to check on the electrical work. 

I waited a day; nothing.  I rang the next day and whoever I wanted to speak to is "busy" and "would you like to leave a message?".  I leave a message.  I wait a day.  I call again.  Yet again, "busy" to whoever I want to speak to.  This has gone on for one week now and looks like I will never have the wiring done on my place rectified.  A complete con job; rip off and shonky operation.  WARNING TO ALL FEMALES:  do NOT use Platinum Electricians at Ipswich.  You cannot rely on them to come back and fix things that they have done that is dodgy and does not work; as for the $50 discount if running late - 1.5 hours late and I was told there is no discount because I was telephoned to state that the electrician is running late.  When I said that there is no "small print" to state that if Platinum rings to state that the electrician is running late there is no $50. 

It says plain and simple in their advertisement online and on the hold function on their phone that you will get $50 discount NO QUESTIONS ASKED if the electrician you have booked is running late.  AVOID AVOID AVOID - THIS IS THE WORST ELECTRICIANS POSSIBLE - GLITZY ADVERTISING TO LURE YOU IN - AND THEY DO NOT DELIVER SERVICE.   DODGY OPERATORS - LIARS - CHEATS - AND KEN McCOOMBES IS A VERY SMOOTH OPERATION.   "Taylor" - the girl who runs Platinum's Ipswich Office under Ken McCoombes as his "assistant" is just as useless and dodgy; always "busy" and refuses to take any calls.  Once these con men get your money - and they insist on payment before they leave by asking when they arrive for the job "how will you be paying today?" - THEY WILL NEVER FIX THEIR DODGY WORK. PLEASE AVOID THESE MEN - DODGY, CON MEN AND CHEATS.
