Platinum Fitness - Whitby/Oshawa/Courtice - THEY TAKE MONEY WITHOUT ANY REASON WHITBY, OSHAWA, Now Courtice Ontario

I have been a member of Whitby location since it opened. It has always been a nice location and clean at that too! Then I joined the multi-club, that's where it all went downhill. They are not owned by the same people so the computer networking is lacking so they do not know what the other is doing and so forth.... If you previously bought from whitby and then decide that one day on a whim, you are going to renew in Oshawa (it used to be a 24 hr gym) you have committed the worst mistake of your life. First of all since the computers are not linked, they do not have a clue when your PREPAID one year membership expires so they start billing you from the day you renew although, your old membership doesn't expire for a few more months. You then figure it out and they tell you for MONTHS that they will fix it... then you start getting calls from Whitby saying that your membership is expired. Of course they didn't fix anything.... you go back and forth with your paperwork from oshawa to whitby to try to get it resolved and it finally takes them 7 months to get it straight. Oshawa then CLOSES but yet they are still charging you a multiclub membership. For what? They don't refund they just "extend" your membership for another month. Not even three months later, they start charging again but with COURTICE, not even the same amount... weird the courtice gym isn't even open? you call them to inquire... "i don't know... we'll refund you..." you try to get the refund and they backtrack and ask for your paperwork... You call you credit card and they want you to fax them proof.. WTF? there is some kind of fraudulent activity and you have to do the legwork? We are cancelling with them... END OF STORY...
