Platinum Warranty Aka Warranty Wizard After this claimed was filed they canceled my policy Ripoff Cleveland Ohio

I purchased a five year or 50,000 mile contract from a Cleveland,OH based auto warranty company in June 2002 with 73300 miles on my odometer. The "Top Of The Line" (they so call it)type of warranty cost me $1124.00 paid in full.

When I needed to use the warranty in February of 2003 the company said they will not pay for the repair because of the value worth of my car. The bill to get my car out from the shop was $2600.00 and Platinum Warranty refused to pay it. I had to plead with the repair shop the reduce the bill so I could afford it to get my car out on credit card.

I had to pay the entire bill of the reduced amount of $2340 to get my car out. Later they call theirself being nice by sending me back the $1124 that I paid for the warranty but there still is a remainder balance from rental car fee's and the left over balance from the bill.

The value of my 96 Dodge Intrepid wih 83800 miles on the odometer was worth way more than they said it was worth. They used the lowest value listed in wholesale section of the "Blackbook" just for an excuse. They have no justification on why they decided to use the lowest value in the wholesale section. When I looked up the term "wholesale" in the dictionary it means "to sale in large quantities". In February 2003 I only needed "one" Dodge Intrepid fixed and not a large quantity.

The warranty was not due to expire until my vehicle reaches 123300 miles or June 26,2007 arrives whichever comes first. After this claimed was filed they canceled my policy.
