Plattner Subaru of Ocala Subaru lease turn-in for a new car lease, almost two months for dealer payoff. I was held liable on account. Ocala Florida

Having made about 8 new car leases, turning in one lease car for a newer one, this is the WORST experience I have ever encountered. This was my first experience with the Plattner Automotive group/Ocala, Florida. 

The "trade" of leases was conducted on August 1st, 2017. The dealer missed the first allowable pay-off date given to him buy the finance company, which was Aug. 20th. So when the payment was made on the 29th, it was short. 

I made many phone calls to the dealsership to discuss this, but nobody would talk to me--always either busy or not available. Then they sent me a phone message that they had made a mistake on the lease and a new one was to be overnighted to me to sign and return overnight. No name was given that left the message. I received the pkg, looked it over, some figures were changed, our payment was less, I signed and we drove to the dealer to deliver, as it was on a weekend and wanted it to be sent to the finance company ASAP! No quetions or comments were made.

Then it took them another 10 days to send the final payment of under $100. to the finance company. Meanwhile, the finance company was asking us for the 2 months payments due, which made our credit in severe jeporady! We made MANY documented/recorded phone calls to the finance company and to Subaru Corporate for help. My account was finally "CLOSED" as of Sept. 27th, 17.

I will never return to that dealership ever again. Since then, I have read bad reports about the Plattner Automotive group--people quit all the time because of payment problems, etc. 

DO NOT GO THERE! Save yourself the grief!
