PlayerAuctions is a scam.

First, they request a photo ID which basically you sent a license or passporte to them in order to pass verification. Then you are required to pay by bank wire so you can't get your money back afterwards. Once you send that money, it's game over for anyone, and get prepared to be ripped off.

4 months ago I purchased a FFXI Account. When I purchased it, I noticed that the individual was around 13 years old who owned the final fantasy account so I knew something was up. I went to PlayerAuctions about this, and they told me it was okay and that people underaged always sell on their website and that it is very common. After multiple weeks of building up this character, leveling it up to 80 for all jobs, and putting over 50 million gil on it, the account was then recalled. Before it was recalled, the original owner messaged me in game, and had told me he was planning to take it back, so either I return it peacefully, or else.

When I spoke to PA about this, they said they would look into it but never did. After a few days, the end happened. I couldn't login and so I went to PlayerAuctions and once again they said they would look into it and their live chat can't help with issues like these. A few days later, the same story but this time they say that because my order is not protected, they can no longer help me. All I hear from them is they will punish the seller but they never did. Instead he gets my money, PA gets the commission and I am out with nothing.

After further research, I found out PlayerAuctions is based in China, and they have been ripping off many people. Not just many, hundreds to thousands of reviews are out there that PA is a big ripoff. Complaints everywhere on pretty much all games from what I saw. They are fraud and a scam company and should be shut down. I even saw that they were getting sued by a company in Delaware I believe. Hopefully they shut down these scammers.

So now I am out well over $1500 all thanks to PlayerAuctions. I guess it is a warning for those out there, don't go with a middleman company in this industry, especially one based in China. They trick you in making you feel safe, but in reality the Player Guardian system is to guard their profit while they then stab you in the back and scam you of your money.

Warning to everyone, DO NOT use PlayerAuctions, they are a scam, and just check the reviews for yourself. Google PlayerAuctions "scam" and you will see that they are clearly fraud.
