playermod-runescape Gaming Account Hacking to Sale of Items for Money , Internet

I subscribe to Runescape an internet adventure game. The game requires you to obtain many items that cost game tokens or "gp" gold pennies that you get from the game by spending time to earning "gp". This is what happened, I recieved a text message in the game that looked like it was from Jagex which is the company that runs the internet game Runescape www.Runescape.com. The message told me I could become an in game player moderator for Jagex, looked very authentic. The text instructed me to go to the following web address http://www.playermod-runescape.tk/ ,upon going to the site it all looked like a Jagex website so I followed the instructions and filled out the information. What it turns out to be is a scam where you provide these thieves your username and passwork to your account. These people then take over your account and transfer your in game items to another player in the game. Once the transfer transaction has been made these theives sell the stolen items for millions of "gp" in the game. This is where the crime starts the thieves sell the "gp" for real life cash on one of many possible sites one example is http://www.rs2goldmart.com <-- I am not accusing this site of stealing from me or internet scamming me, this is just an example of what these thieves can do. I do know with a 100% confidence that the http://www.playermod-runescape.tk/ website is conducting internet fraud. The amount of game money "gp" that I lost due to this fraudulant activity was 50M gp worth approximately $40.00 US, check the rs2golmart.com site. It is not that big of a deal for me probably 4 or 5 months of game time at $5.00 per month for the membership. The big deal is that these guys are probably scamming thousands of Runescape players and generating tens of thousands of dollars doing so.
