Thanks to all of you who have posted here. I fortunately escaped being another
victim of the North America Vacationers Sweepstakes/Lottery Program.

Today, July 2, 2007, I received a letter also claiming I won part of the "lottery".
Ha! I feel slighted, I only got a check for 950.00. Must be that stuff on my credit
report still lingering lol.

Interestingly, I found on this site they were out of California, now Alberta Canada.

Do Not Cash Those Checks!! If you read on this site, many have been deceived, and many more have cashed the checks and had to pay the money back to the banks. You will become overdrawn and out the money.

I called Plus Financial today. A man with a thick Arabic accent answered. I had to ask twice if this was Plus Financial. He said yes. I told him, " You should stop sending out phony checks to people, as you are all over the website as a rip-off scam. He abruptly hung up on me. I called back, he picked up the phone, said nothing, then hung up.

I tried to file online with BBB of Canada. Wth? the site gives you a box not even this wide to file and answer questions in. With no way to widen the screen on it, you have to slide back and forth to read the stuff, I got tired of it, and decided
best bet was to write to them to complain. The address is listed below. Thank you again for all of your input. If a class action is to be filed by all those who read and have been victimized, please have Ripoff Report contact me. I am holding onto the letter and the check, drawn off Washington Mutual.
