I have been buying media for more than 8 years and have never invested in media worse than this one. Bob Riley representing Plus Media Group and Direct Media Power claims to be one of the leading Radio media whole sellers. Plus Media Group and Direct Media Power might be a whole seller but a whole seller of junk. I provided them with $7,200.00 up front for unique radio live call ins. After waiting more than a week finally leads started to role in from Plus Media Group and Direct Media Power. After the first day I started to get a little worried due to issues with their system. We would get calls that would hang up as soon as we answered the phone. The calls that didnt hand up couldnt hear us. This was obviously a system error with the transfer of the call.
Further day results included short calls that would hang up, very low debt loads, and callers that just did not qualify for our program. Out of 200 calls we did not have one call that signed up for our program. All my sales reps have over 4 years exp. and average over 100k a month in revenue each so you would think they should have at least closed one of the call ins. We were even charged for 0 sec calls. Yes calls that didnt even ring our phone system.
This company is a RipOff and you are taking a major risk by investing your money with this company.

I am currently considering a relationship with Direct Media Power and the individual I am speaking with is Steven Ross and before I agree to by tax leads from them I am trying to see if I can get a little more information about your dealings with them. As you may know, this company is not a memebr of the better business bureau and has not complaints filed against them. I am not certain why you would not have filed a complaint with the BBB regardless of their membership with the BBB? I am also not certain if the company I am dealing with is the same company as the Direct Media Power Inc. I am talking with is located in IL? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Apparently we have some joker (sounds like a one man operation) who purchased leads from us last month that is looking to extort money out of our company. The contact is Scott Rister who claims to be a Director of a company called State Capital Financial, Inc. based out of
From what I understand, Mr. Rister purchased leads from Bob Riley with Direct Media Power, which is one of our broker companies, back on Nov 17th and wired us $7200 the next day. The $7200 was to be for 160 unique debt settlement calls. Over the next couple of weeks we sent Mr. Rister 155 unique calls of which 40 of the calls lasted over 5 minutes length and 18 of the calls lasted over 10 minutes in length (see report below). Unbeknown to the company until today (because he was dealing directly with Direct Media Power), Mr. Rister had a complaint on the average call length and said that we sent him too many short calls. Obviously, Mr. Rister has no idea how direct marketing works and that with 40 calls lasting over 5 minutes in length he had several qualified prospects that were valid calls. From what I just found out today, Mr. Rister made ridiculous refund demands to Bob Riley and made threats that he would damage our business if we did not refund him in full or he would post negative information on our company online.

Obviously these posting are very damaging to our company and libelous to Mr. Rister.

I called him personally this morning and he hung up on me and then when I called him back he first stated he had 40 employees, then stated he didnt have 40 people that he had a debt settlement company that he sold a few years ago. Again, sounds like a one man operation. I also asked him who his attorney was and he told me that he had several, but couldnt supply one name and for you to contact him directly.
