I originally was contacted by PMI after ordering a Auctions For Income product from a infomercial. Imediately after agreeing to a PMI program in the amount of $1989 I had one coaching session then I began having personal problems and tried to cancel from program. They assured me they would do everything possible to help me and would put the program on hold until I got things back on track. They offered me a rebate of $198, but after reading the fine print the rebate would have been considered payment in full and would have acknowledged that PMI handled this matter to my complete satisfaction released them from any further responsiblity or liability. After notifying PMI that I cancelling out of the program I was able to work with 2 of the 3 card companies I used for payment to PMI to obtain a refund but they continued to challange the $700 with Citicard. I only spoke to a coach for 2 sessions and never received the Usight Builder or Auctions PI. Daniel La Crosse, Wisconsin

NOT ready to give in to PMI

AUTHOR: Daniel - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 15, 2005

Just for grins I thought I might check the Rip-Off Report site to see if there was any more victims of the fraudulent practices I encountered. I had resigned myself to thinking I would never be able to recover my 700.00 then I was suprised to find out that there are another 22 such entries since filing my report in November. As I did not articulate the circumstances as well as other consumers have done, each horror story could have been mine. I am going to begin a renewed effort to not let PMI keep my hard earned money. Any suggustion or advice would be helpful.

Although I was able to work with two of the credit card companies to reverse the charges a third one CITI citicard has not stepped up to do whats right and insists I have to work with the merchant directly. This hasnt worked so far. I did originally send and E-mail and a formal letter requesting a refund of the last 700.00, no response to date.
