Took my 2006 Chev. Silverado Pick-up to Polk Tire and Auto for a Tune-Up. Per their receipt they replaced all 8 Spark Plugs, cleaned throttle plate/mass air flow.
In the following few days truck was not running good, started missing. The work was done on a Saturday, by that Friday I took it back. I informed them that it was not running correctly, they told me they couldn't do anything till Monday. I took it to another shop.
The other shop took it that day, and called me with everything they found, as they found it. 2 cracked spark plugs and 3 plug wires were bad. They gave me the bad plugs.
Polk also charged $4.54 more for each plug and $10. more for labor per hour than the other shop. Polk charged me a total of $283. it took another $209. to get it fixed. Took both receipts and cracked spark plugs back to Polk, all they would offer me was $50. in store credit. Now why would I want to take a vehicle back to them?
