Pool King - Kenni Lanni RIP OFF ARTIST LIAR Houston Texas

I too purchased a pool from Pool King on September 23, 2006 for 23,000 and was ripped off. In the early stages of the pool they did come out and dig, gunite, etc..pretty early on. Of course this work also came with a big payout for them.

They constantly didnt show up when suppose to, and I heard every excuse in the book from the workers were going away for the holidays, to Kenny was moving, and of course the weather.. It was right around Thanksgiving when I knew there was a huge problem.

This is their scam. They underbid the pool job to get people to sign the contract, and then they take the money at early stages of the pool construction, and then they dont come back to finish because they are owed little or no money. We finially got decking poured in April, and the pool was plastered in April also. That marked 7 months from the time I purchased the pool from pool king. I couldnt even walk out my back door the dirt and mud was so close to my house. The pool actually fill up twice with rain water and had to be pumped out.

The smell and bugs and floating garbage was horrible. My fence actually collapsed. I had a waterfall put on the pool and it was done so badly, that it had to be removed and redone. I never got my cleaning equipment, automatic pool cleaner, spray deck, yard clean up, house clean up, etc.

I had to hire a subcontractor to finish the job. After reading some of these other complaints, I guess I should consider myself lucky to have gotten as much as I did. This guy is a real jerk and needs to be put behind bars for preying on good, trusting people.
