Port Authority Of New York & New Jersey Feb 26, 1996 Blast, PA is still hiding behind the appeal process and asking a Judge to reverse the Jury's finding. rip off of JUSTICE for those who died, Port Authority has yet to be made to compensate anyone New York New York

Before its construction the PA hired a security consulting firm to perform a security risk analysis on the Morld Trade Center design. One of the reccomendations made in their report was that the PA should not allow a public parking lot in the lower levels of the building as this could be an invitation to terrorist activity. The PA chose to ignore this reccomendation and profited from the parking operation for many years. On 2/26/1993 terrorists did indeed choose the parking lot to plant a bomb. Thousands were injured and numerous deaths occured. Literally hundreds of businesses came to a halt as a result.

During the law suits that were filed the PA fought to keep this secret report out of the public domain so as to not jeapordize the remaining building complex and it's security systems.

Following 9/11/2001 that argument no longer applied and the documents were admitted to the public domain. After years of hiding behind the appeal process the case was finally heard by a Jury who found that due to the PA's ingoring of its own consultants who warned of exactly what might happen the PA was found 75% liable for the 2/26/1993 bombing that could have been avoided.

Here we are over 14 years later and the PA is still hiding behind the appeal process and asking a Judge to reverse the Jury's finding.

Thia is a rip off of JUSTICE for those who died and were injured (some permanently disabled)that day. Many lives were permanently changed that day and yet the PA has yet to be made to compensate anyone (individuals or business) for their losses.

This is totally seperate from the heinous acts of 9/11/2001 that could not have been avoided by the PA.
