I ordered a building, the salesman NEVER asked whenI could take delivery. he said the delivery dept. would call to schedule it.

a week later thy did, I told them I couldn't take it until may. they insisted I was rescheduling, this was the first time they called. but my ORIGINAL purchase agreement has a BLANK date.

the next day I received a certified letter informing me that it would be $231 more because I rescheduled it.
I have in my posession the ORGINAL purchase agreement.
the date is BLANK.this is why I thought I could take it when I wanted it.

I called & my salesman refused to talk to me & pushed me off onto his boss.he's rude & UNPROFESSIONAL.
I argued with him for 30 min. he refused to make it right.

he was even so BOLD as to send me acopy of a copy with the date part filled in in. I know for a fact they filled it in to SCAM me. I have the ORIGINAL!!! the DATE is BLANK not to mention it was 1 complete arch short.

Teresa,
First let me begin stating that all of our purchase orders have delivery dates as your's did or we would not accept them. It would be impossible for any company to give open ended delivery dates due to prices changes in steel, freight etc. I dont beleive any business would let customers dictate their delivery dates without price adjustments. Therefore stating that we gave you an open delivery date is ridiculous. Powerbilt management nor its employees would never forge a document. I find this odd that in almost 12 years this is the first complaint that our company has ever had to the BBB because what you have stated is absolutely false. This is why the Attorney General's office that you had informed as well as the BBB upon receiving the purchase order that you signed with the delivery date on it, agreed with Powerbilt and advised that we were justified in passing on the addtional fees. You delayed delivery of the product for several months, and agreed in writing to pay for the additional charges. To say that we scammed you is outright false. I am sorry that you feel this way regarding our company and only wish that I was not writing this. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction but it is was not fair to expect Powerbilt to absorb additional costs associated with your transaction simply because you were not willing to accept delivery.
Respectfully,
Stephan Michaels
President
