Powerpoint Financial Winning Final Notification Washington District of Columbia

We recieved a check in the amount of $4890.00 and a letter that indicated we had won more we just needed to call a number that was listed on the letter. The "check" is very official looking and is drawn on the bank of The
National Capital Bank of Washington. The letter indicates we are to send $2985.00 in US dollars by moneygram or Western Union to pay taxes on our "big winnings" Not GOOD! This letter is signed by Laura Morgan, Promotion Manager and we are to call Bill Hensley @ a number that happens to be in Ontario, Canada.

The check looks official enough, but upon further inspection, I noticed that the check numbers are first along the bottom of the check vs the routing number of the bank. There are other details also, this is fraud, I am sure of it...I looked up the National Bank of Washington and it does exist; however I am sure they would return this check in a heartbeat. Hope no one gets stung!
