Rick West from PRA Recovery Phantom debt collector scammer Lindenhurst New York

I received a call from Rick West regarding some serious issues. They apparently found some old leaked invoice which was obviously paid for and try to collect on just that.They refuse to give out any info like their DCA license number (New York requires one) or even creditor info. They also say they are not required to send snail mail but only emails when requested written debt verification. I'm surprised FTC hasn't shut them down yet. I'm now filing a complaint to the store who leaked the invoice with my personal info on it.

This is obviously a scam or phantom debt collector. Don't bother talking with them as they are disrespectful and try to be intimidating. They hang you right up when you about to ask important questions like a 5 yearsold. Calling back the number gives you some lady who has no idea what her business do. She only transfer calls to appropriate business. Apparently they are running multiple scam operations and need a call operator. Not to be confused with the real Portfolio Recovery Associates LLC, these guys called themselves PRA but then send email under NationwideCollection.net. I checked my credit report with no marks. Then I called back the real PRA LLC and they confirm that I don't have any accounts with them and they have no idea who are these guys. Figured.

It is better to ignore them than talk. Their expert trolling technique will waste your time. Report them to New York state attorney.
