Precision Moving and Mini Storage Fraud, Misrepresentation and Ripoff--Damaged & Destroyed All Items in Move Bronx, New York

Precision Movers destroyed and/or damaged nearly EVERY piece of furniture and household items they were contracted to move from NC to NY. Their movers arrived very late on Dec 15, 2011 at both pick-up with NO furniture blankets or materials to wrap, protect or transport my furniture and belongings safely, only an empty white truck. I had carefully bubble wrapped and packed every breakable in boxes with padding of towels, pillows and blankets. They contracted with me for a DIRECT delivery, which means NO STOPS or carrying anyone elses goods on the truck. They picked up my household in Cary, NC on Dec 15, 2011 in a white truck and delivered it to Clarence, NY in a RED truck on Dec 21, 2011, doubling the cost of their initial quote of $2200.00 to $4100.00 and charged me an additional $250 for packing materials without any itemization so I had NO idea what they were charging me for. Their salesman, Sean Mcnealis, completely misrepresented the service. Their recourse was for me to file a claim requiring originally receipts for my belongings which were non-existent. This required me to appear in small claims court at night in NYC requiring me to miss 2 days of work, fly into NYC, stay in a hotel and fly home the next day. The courts refused to give me a daytime court date. Precision's insurance company would only pay $.60 per pound of damaged goods which was $694.00 of $6,000.00 worth of damage. MAJOR RIPOFF!!! Precision should be made to close their doors and never do this to another victim!
