Before I started working for PMA I had just came back from college and was working a dead end job. I tried different jobs out trying to find one that I enjoyed and paid well and I just couldn't. I simply was just stuck at a dead end construction job when a family member and a friend told me about the career because they had been working for PMA for awhile. I thought it sounded to good to be true but saw how there lifes were turning out and I wanted the same. I decided to take the interview and listen about the oppourtunity. I now am making six figures a year and have been with the company for over two years. I am glad I gave this a shot and i wouldn't change a thing.

When I first looked into this career I was very skeptical and not sure what to think.  My friends told me it was "too good to be true" and others were as skeptical as I first was. I had never worked for a commission and bonus structure before but the Manager told me that If I committed to learning the sales presentation and If I gave 16 to 20 presentations per week that I would experience big time success.  I followed their "system for success".............and he was right!!!!

I made more income my first week in the field than what I would have made in 3 months at my prior job and I had fun helping and meeting new friends with our great products along the way.  I was not alone here, many were experiencing the same results.  This Company has a focus of maintaining a high ethical standard across the board by putting people and compliance first..........the same way I was brought up. 

I wanted to advance in the Company and that was exactly what happened.  I was building my own business with the support of my Managers and the Company.  I was going up the ladder and my income was as well!  After 5 years I became "vested" and now have an income that will follow myself and my Family for the life of the policies, even if I decide to walk away.  Where can you find security like that today?

However, this did not happen by luck or chance.  You have to be 100% fundamentally sound, have a burning desire to achieve your goals and have excellent work ethic.  If you don't your success will be limited.......period!  The problem today in my opinion is too many people don't take responsibility for themselves.  It is easier to put the blame on someone else rather than be held accountable for their own failures.  We gain weight and then its the fast food industries fault, not our own!

I feel that I have been blessed to discover such a wonderful career.  I look forward to helping many more Families with our quality products as I continue to grow my business.   Attitude Determines Altitude!!! 

PMA USA provided me with a great opportunity to build my own business.  Coming out of college 3 years ago, they never lied to me once in any step of the way.  Provided the proper training, sales system, very healthy income, recognition, and awards.  In any business, there will be a few that do not put in the proper work ethic, attitude, and comittiment to succeed and those that do not, do not need to point the finger at anyone but themselves.

 Coming out of college with hardly no money, I commited to these things and PMA USA has given me everything it said it could.  The managers provide agents with weekly and monthly bonuses to pay for those extra expenses which was a huge help at the beginning for myself.  Not to mention the awards and trips PMA has provided for us are all huge incentives and perks that make this profession even better.  I couldnt be more appreciative of this company, not only by the position I currently am in and what it has done for my family but also by the amazing product/coverage we provide to many families.

During college I worked a couple of dead end jobs earning minimal pay for what I feel I was worth.  After college the job market was even more scarce, until a friend showed me an opportunity with PMA in sales.  I was hesitant at first, but had nothing to lose.  I am now 4 1/2 yrs with the company earning six figures at least triple than I would ever have from a 9-5 job.  The opportunity sure is whatever you make of it.  Over the years PMA has taken my wife & I on many trips to beautiful resorts with world class people, allowed me to be an independent contractor, also meet & help thousands of families through tough times.  PMA has given me the tools to be successful and run my own business.  For people just seeing the opportunity for the first time.... Take it!!!

I was working at a large Bank when the recession hit, at the time I was not endanger of loosing my Job in fact I was working my way up the ladder rapidly.  I found myself killing myself for a company that really just regarded me as a number.  I put my resume out there to see if there were any other opportunities possibly one where I could create a career where I could be more than a number.

I met with a gentleman in a hotel conference room who challenged me to become a part of something greater than myself while helping people during their greatest time of need.  I asked many questions that ranged from how the pay works and what was required of me.  He simply responded that nothing was required of me and that I would be an independent contractor. All they could do is motivate me and if I was not afraid of hard work they could teach me how to follow a work schedule and a marketing method that has unpatrolled results.  

I am glad to report that here I am 3.5 years later and it was everything they promised.  I have had the opportunity to find financial independent, travels to exotic local; my wife and I have made some lifelong friends.  However, I must say by far that the best gift that this opportunity has afforded me is the gift of time.  I am able to spend uninterrupted, quality time with my wife and three small children.  

I started with PMA USA nearly 5 years ago at the age of 24 I was fresh out of college and was looking for a career that was going to pay me for what I was worth. I had no sales experience what so ever the only jobs I had in the past were manual labor jobs such as construction and land scaping where I earned an hourly wage.  When I started for PMA USA I only had a few hundred dollars in my checking account but I had a strong work ethic and the desire to succeed. PMA USA provided me with great training from day one.  My first week working for the company I made more money than I had ever seen, and it started to get better and better as the months went on.  The weekly and monthly bonuses that I earned to care of all my expenses and then some. It was amazing how well the products had helped the existing customers and how easy it was to gain referals from exising clients. Since starting with this company I have brought many friends and family members into the company that are very successful as well. Through out the years the company has taken my wife and I on many trips and I have earned countless rewards. I think this is one of the best companies to work for.  This career is for people with a strong work ethic, entreprenuial spirit and desire to succeed.

PMA and Conseco Ins. are LIARS!  Watch your back- they stick you with LYING RECORDS at VECTOR ONE!  Unless you contact Vector One in Arizona you will be denied appoitments to other insurance companies.  PMA and Conseco had one against me for an airline cost and hotel of all things.  No charge backs or overpaid commissions.  THEY ARE LIARs!

Have worked with PMA in 5 states for the last three years, this is a solid company that cares about the folks contracted with them. I got great training and get updates to training on a regular basis. As with any business not everyone will be a good fit, the blame should be placed on the man and the women in the mirror, not the company. If the company was acting unprofessionally or illegally than the state would shut them down. The company has locations for you to service but this is your business which means, like any other business you need to go out and get some new customers as you will exhaust the existing ones in time. Working with them has provided a good living for my family and knowing that if something happens to me my vesting will continue to pay my wife after I am gone is important to me
