They are listed as a store on ebay selling "preloved" cell phones. In their ad they tell you they have a 14 day return policy and suggest you purchase a warranty through squaretrade warranty. What they don't tell you is that the Squaretrade warranty won't go into effect until 60days after purchase and since they only give you a 14 day return policy if your phone breaks after the 14th day and before the 60th day your screwed. And believe me the phone will break. Bought a phone from them and after one month started getting a white screen and the phone would turn itself off.
After talking to squaretrade and finding out the warranty would not fix this (they refunded me the amount I paid for the warranty because it was as they described, "DOA") I was advised by squaretrade to contact the seller. So figuring I didn't have much chance I sent an email to the seller explaining the ENTIRE situation and what squaretrade had told me. I received an email back stating I they were sorry for the inconvenience and that I could send the phone back, with an attached RMA form that was with the email. I packaged all of the accesories and the phone up and sent it back. Wisely getting delivery confirmation.
After about 10 days and checking to make sure it was delivered I emailed the seller again. They sent a return email stating that they had a 14 day return policy and that they tell people to purchase a warranty and that there was nothing they could do. After going back and forth through emails explaining I had purchased the warranty and they told me to return the phone they replied that it was too long past the 14 days and they wouldnt do anything about the phone. I then asked them several times to return the phone back to me and they have ignored all of the emails. I have had to file a mail fraud complaint and a complaint with the MN BBB, but I still do not have the money I paid for the phone or the phone.

#2 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Biased report/feedback

This is Joel, owner of Preloved Cell Phones.
I want to address my customers and potential future customers:
This is one report from one customer out of our 40,000+ happy customers. Please review our true reputation and credibility from all of customers at our eBay store at www.prelovedcellphones.com.
The BBB sided with me on this case stating we were reasonable and professional and closed the case in our favor which you can view our BBB report to verify.
All our phones are tested to be functional and this buyer's was functional, but this buyer bought a Treo 600 which is about a 8-10 year old phone and as electronics do, they do burn out and after 8-10 years have a higher probability and has nothing to do with the quality of product being sold, but the risk of buying any used product.
We sent this buyer a RMA form as we do for any customer who request it and it states very clearly our 14 day return policy and is the customers responsibility to follow or contact us for an extension if needed, as we have extended many customers return policy due to certain circumstances.
I hope to do business with whomever reads this report.
Thank you for your time.
