Premera Blue Cross Misleading Statements & Falsehoods Mountlake Terrace Washington

We were enrolled in Premer's Medicare HOM health plan for CY 2015.  In preparing for the CY 2016, and during the Medicare open enrollment period, I spoke with a Premera representative who confirmed to me that there were to be no changes to our health plans ... and, more specifically, to the Silver Slipper feature.  This confirmation as related to Silver Slipper was an absolute lie and falsehood.

Further, I have reviewd Premera's Annual Notice of changes for 2016 booklet and was not able to find any comment relating to Silver Slipper.  

Now that I am outside the open enrollment period, I am stuck with Premera for my Medicare supplemental insurance and must pay for Sliver Slipper out of my pocket.  If I had been told the truth by the Premera representative, I would have enrolled in another Medicare supplement plan that featured Silver Slipper.

I will not use Premera Blue Cross again and anyone thinking of using Premera insurance should do so at their own risk.  The company's representatives will tell you whatever is necessary to 'close the deal', even to the point of outright lying.
