Caller: This is Premier Properties and I have a buyer for your lot in Polk County, Texas

Me: How much are they willing to pay?

Caller:$16,000

Me: Great, send me the paperwork and I'll sign it.

Caller: We are Premier Properties and not a real estate company. It will cost you $500 for a portfolio.

Me: If you have a buyer, why charge me $500 for a portfolio?

Caller: We will do a portfolio on your property and showcase it.

Me: I don't have a job and no money.

Caller: Sorry, we can't help you.

Did a search online and found out several other people have been contacted with the same promise of a buyer of their property only to find out it was a pitch to produce a portfolio on their property. The fees ranged above and below $499.
