This company send me a check for $4,890.00, but I am to call the listed number to discuss taxes of $2,890. to be paid by Western Union before I can cash the check.

The number listed is to a man's home -- sounds of kids playing in background and he will ask for phone number of where I am calling from but the minute you ask him any questions, he will hang up the phone and will not answer anymore. I contacted the Portland ME Police Dept and they are looking into this for me. I have faxed them a copy of the check and the letter with the phone number on it.

The letters are signed BOB.
