My father and I signed him up for this dating service, which has signs posted all over the Charlotte, North Carolina area stating "Charlotte Singles" but in fact, there is no office in Charlotte beyond a sales office and that office closed shortly after we signed him up. It costed an exhorbitant amount of money and he was promised satisfication, customer service and singles events. The few events they have are arranged at the last minute and most of the time, they are thrown together.
One event he went to was in a bar with little or no food provided and no one talked to him at all. The company itself based in Dallas Texas has a 1-888 number that is supposed to provide customer service, but no one will call him back nor are you able to leave a message. We voiced our complaints (finally) to a supposed manager and she was rude and unsympathetic. I told her I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and she wasn't surprised. In fact, I have seen many complaints filed on this company with the Better Business Bureau. Please don't sign up for this service, because it is not legitimate!!!
The customer service phone number isn't even answered as "Charlotte Singles" or "Premier Singles" - they just say "hello" when you call. They do not identify themselves over the phone and will not give you their last names. They know that peple are unhappy with their so-called dating service and when someone is on the track to catching them, they close up shop, move somewhere else and change their name again.
I am a 3rd year law student with many attorneys colleagues, and I am in the process of filing a formal Complaint against this company. However, I am afraid my father has lost his money - $4,000. Please contact the Better Business Bureau of your state and city if this company has taken advantage of you as well. This company has to be put out of business - now!
